About SEMTAC
The Grocers Solutions Center offers free one-on-one support and other resources to retailers pursuing FNA modernization initiatives through the SNAP EBT Modernization Technical Assistance Center (SEMTAC).
SEMTAC is a cooperative grant project between USDA’s Food and Nutrition Administration, which administers Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and the National Grocers Association Foundation (NGAF).
Expert Guidance for Grocers
The following programs are all offered to NGA members to support the leadership development goals.
SNAP Online Purchasing
We support grocers, eCommerce providers, and third-party processors navigating the SNAP Online onboarding process.
SNAP EBT Chip Cards
We guide grocers and point of sale (POS) providers through the transition to EBT chip cards.
SNAP Mobile Payments
We advise grocers who are participating in the pilot project to accept SNAP mobile payments.
