Hanson Will Develop Impactful Content Aligned with the NGA Member Priorities
Washington D.C. – The National Grocers Association (NGA), the leading trade association representing independent supermarket retailers, announced today that Kelly Hanson, current project director with the NGA Foundation, will take on a new role as director of education and insights.

Hanson currently leads the NGA Foundation Technical Assistance Center’s focus on nutrition incentive programs while also supporting foundation programs and initiatives overall.
An experienced leader in building impactful learning environments—virtual and in-person— Hanson has excelled at engaging students, educators, funders, and policymakers alike. Serving as the NGA Foundation’s project director before accepting her new role, Hanson currently oversees educational programs, leads content strategy for national events, manages a multidisciplinary team, and drives fundraising efforts that have expanded program reach. Her other responsibilities included overseeing student scholarships, case competitions, and strategic initiatives like the Food Industry University Coalition.
