The National Grocers Association (NGA) congratulates and welcomes the 119^th Congress. For nearly 40 years, NGA has represented independent supermarket operators in every state and congressional district across the country, and the wholesalers that service them.

As a sector that generates $253.6 billion in annual sales and supports nearly 1.2 million jobs nationwide, it is important for the independent supermarket industry to be represented with one strong voice in Washington, DC. NGA has been advocating across the aisle for policies that will ensure the independent supermarket industry continues to grow and creates jobs in communities throughout America. We look forward to working with all Members of Congress on advancing policy priorities that support America’s main street grocers.
