Thousands of grocery retailers gathering this week in Las Vegas; registration tracking ahead of last year

Las Vegas, NV –  The independent retail grocery industry will gather for The NGA Show at Caesars Forum Convention Center in Las Vegas, starting Sunday, March 10, through Tuesday, March 12.

Participants at the only U.S. event focusing exclusively on independent grocery retailers will have access to two expansive trade show floors, a full conference program, competitions, special events and networking opportunities. The show is hosted by the National Grocers Association and Clarion Events.

“We’re excited about the momentum building around this year’s show,” said Greg Ferrara, NGA president and CEO. “Registrations are pacing well ahead of last year, when we surpassed pre-pandemic numbers, and the exhibit hall is sold out. Along with fantastic educational opportunities, special events and networking, the NGA Show is THE place to be for retailers, wholesalers and suppliers looking to collaborate and move the industry forward.”

Additionally, NGA and Clarion Events as show hosts have renewed their partnership with the Three Square Las Vegas Food Bank as part of its Clarion Cares corporate initiative to give back to the communities that help host its live events.

Partnering with organizations that align with its core values – care, respect, service, compassion, diversity, inclusion and sustainability – Clarion has again chosen to work with Three Square, which has served the residents of Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmerelda counties in Nevada since 2007. It provides wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. In recent years, Three Square has distributed tens of millions of meals through its community partners.

Vendors who wish to distribute remaining product at the close of the NGA Show are encouraged to mark product for donations to Three Square, which will be picking up at the show on Tuesday, March 12. The food bank encourages all to join its fight to end hunger.

“It’s important to give back to the communities that open their arms to our events,” said Desiree Hanson, chief commercial officer for Clarion Events. “We appreciate our ongoing partnership with Three Square and the important work they do in fighting hunger throughout the greater Las Vegas area.”

The NGA Show is sponsored by the National Grocers Association and produced by Clarion Events Inc. Full details about the education program, exhibits, special events, networking and registration can be found at www.thengashow.com.
