Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC), the parent company of Super 1 Foods, recently hosted a special appreciation luncheon in Lafayette to honor the city’s first responders.
The event recognized the company’s commitment to local police, fire, and sheriff’s departments, as well as the 256th Infantry Brigade of the National Guard, which all play vital roles in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
As part of the luncheon, BGC donated a total of $20,000 to the four agencies in support of their continued service. The funds serve as a meaningful gesture of thanks and an investment in the essential work these organizations perform every day.
