The Food Industry University Coalition (FIUC) is a coalition of academic institutions who provide teaching or research focused primarily on the food industry.

Mission Statement 

To leverage our combined wealth of intellectual capital, our strategic perspective and our third-party status to provide thought leadership for the food industry in dealing with its most challenging issues . This is done while also embracing our ability to actively engage and foster the education of the next generation of food industry leaders.

Roles of FIUC

• Create a setting where academics can collaborate on teaching and research focused on food industry issues.

• Provide a forum where academicians can exchange ideas with each other and with food industry professionals.

• Advance the collective intellectual capital of member institutions.

• Promote and advance career opportunities for students of member institutions

• Provide industry outreach and continuing education programs to the food/retail industry

• Support the NGA and NGAF's initiatives, programs and strategic direction.
