Wakefern Food Corp has launched a rebranding of its Price Rite discount banner and elevated Jim Dorey to become president of the chain. Keasbey, N.J.-based Wakefern unveiled the first fully rebranded store — touting the new name and logo of Price Rite Marketplace — at a remodeled location in Secane, Pa., last week. The remodeled store includes a brighter, revitalized ambiance with new signage, a modern, whitewashed wood backdrop and additional offerings, such as the Sweet Spot dessert case.
