As the government shutdown continues, NGA continues to update our members on the impact it will have on your operations. NGA has prepared a memorandum (linked below) that lays out the impact the shutdown has had on the supermarket industry, including both funding and operations for SNAP and WIC.
Additionally, NGA signed onto a letter with 200 additional organizations led by the US Chamber of Commerce that urges Congress to pass a continuing resolution (CR) funding the government and to not default on the national debt.
