Minimum Wage – The Next Increase
So many retailers have been asking themselves, how will the next minimum wage increase affect my business?  On July 24, 2008 the minimum wage increases to $6.55 per hour.  Some retailers are investing in capital improvements that will reduce staffing needs, such as self checkouts.  Many have redefined job duties or cut back on the number of hours for part time employees or reduced the number of full time employees.  What have you done that’s helped?  We are looking for you to share your ideas with fellow N.G.A.
